A new opportunity was discovered at the intersection of retail business, consumer shopping and emerging digital technologies. This project is the exploration of a new product based service to tap into this opportunity within the rapidly evolving retail landscape.
EUni is a consolidated enterprise software solution for university management. Utilizing a unique development strategy, focusing on providing a more intuitive approach through modern enhanced user experience web technologies, and built around a software architecture that embeds flexibility, EUni will provide universities with one consolidated solution that meets their specific needs - as opposed to the conventional costly multiple base-line business-process-centered software solutions which require significant gap fitting, in addition to other integrating middleware. EUni will save universities time and money as it provides them with all their needs in terms of enterprise software infrastructure in a very easy-to-use academia-centered environment for its users.
The Engineering Enterprise Project involves developing and commercializing a new innovative product based on the core SolarSkylight technology developed at McMaster University. SolarSkylight utilizes prisms and photovoltaic strips to provide ideal lighting conditions from a skylight while absorbing excess light and converting it to useable electric energy. Greenhouse applications are presently being investigated.
