Jean Pilon-Bignell

Wireless Networking Lab at McMaster University has invented power saving intellectual property for WiFi access points enabling extremely power efficient, lightweight, mobile battery powered networking capabilities for use in applications such as emergency response, military and mobile personal area networks.

Academic & Professional Background

Jean is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Queen's University and current full time employee of imaging company PV-Labs, a member of the commercialization capital firm Trivaris Ltd family of companies. With interests in early stage engineering innovation and commercialization, he aspires to one day be involved in the development and commercialization of multiple early stage innovations.

Jean enrolled in the MEEi program in 2008 in order to develop first hand entrepreneurial education and experience.
