Polyprimer
Development of scratch resistant polycarbonate for the replacement of glass windshields in automobiles. The value proposition translates directly to gas savings and lower cost of an automotive part – the windshield. Incidentally, polycarbonate windshield replacements would gain 3% to 5% in fuel economy. Scratch resistent polycarbonate also holds the potential to disrupt other industries which are dependent on glass, i.e., architectural glass, container glass, and so on.
