Whether you are engaged in launching a business, original research, or have been assigned a market opportunity from within an enterprise, the Xerox Center for Engineering Entrepreneurship & Innovation at McMaster University offers you an environment designed exclusively for real-time venture creation and education by bringing together the experience, opportunity and resources necessary for aspiring entrepreneurs to become business catalysts.

The center is announcing a series of Lectures (Entrepreneurship 101) to be held at McMaster University through the months of September and October to introduce the concepts, ideas and issues relating to starting and growing a technology based business. The set of lectures and conducted by a group of distinguished speakers in their fields of expertise.

Audience:

Entrepreneurship 101 lectures target entrepreneurs, graduate and undergraduate students, post-docs, faculty, technicians and any other innovator or inventor as well as the general audience, who have an interest in creating a new venture. No prior knowledge of business or entrepreneurship is required.

Format:

The lecture series includes four 1.5 to 2 hour lectures including questions.
